Is there an airport in Halkidiki?
No. Halkidiki has no airport of its own; everyone flies into Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia (SKG). From there it is about an hour to Afytos, an hour and a quarter to Nikiti or Possidi, and longer to the far south of Sithonia and the Athos coast. A private car or van is the simplest way: no taxi queue, child seats on request, prices include VAT and tolls.
